About Mininera
Mininera is a rural locality in the Rural City of Ararat in south-western Victoria, about 38 km south of Ararat and 91 km west of Ballarat. The district lies on the volcanic basalt plains and is used mainly for sheep grazing and cropping. Mininera gives its name to the Mininera & District Football League and retains a post office and store.
