About Lake Wongan
Lake Wongan is a sparsely populated rural locality in western Victoria, named after the lake at its centre. Within the locality is the Lake Wongan Wildlife Reserve, a nature reserve managed by Parks Victoria where regulated hunting is permitted. The lake is a wetland supporting significant populations of threatened birds.
