About Tatyoon
Tatyoon is a small town in the Rural City of Ararat in western Victoria, situated on a cleared plain dotted with ephemeral lakes approximately 33 kilometres south of Ararat. The name derives from an Aboriginal word meaning water catchment, and the area supports fine wool, cereal and livestock production.
