About Garfield North
Garfield North is a locality in the Shire of Cardinia in Victoria, about 68 km south-east of Melbourne, on farming country north of the town of Garfield, extending up to Bunyip State Park. It was served from 1914 by the Garfield North State School, housed in the original Garfield school building, which closed in 1973 after nearly 60 years of operation. The building now serves as an outdoor education centre.
