Bunyip North is a rural locality in the Shire of Cardinia in Victoria, 74 km south-east of Melbourne's central business district. It lies in the farming district north of Bunyip, an area with a history of orcharding, dairying and grazing that grew with the draining of the Koo Wee Rup Swamp from the 1890s.
