About Twin Waters
Twin Waters is a coastal resort suburb of Maroochydore in the Sunshine Coast Region, Queensland, located 10 kilometres north of Maroochydore and 112 kilometres north of Brisbane. Bounded by the Maroochy River to the south and the Coral Sea to the south-east, the suburb includes the 174-hectare Maroochy River Conservation Park established in 1992. Named and gazetted as a separate suburb on 9 May 2003, Twin Waters is home to the Twin Waters Resort and the Twin Waters Golf Club, an 18-hole championship course designed by Peter Thomson and Mike Wolveridge in 1991.
