About Pacific Paradise
Pacific Paradise is a residential suburb of Maroochydore in the Sunshine Coast Region, Queensland, located eight kilometres north-west of the Maroochydore CBD. Bounded by the Maroochy River to the south, the suburb was officially named on 27 July 1991. Pacific Paradise State School, opened on 28 January 1992, includes a special education program. Urbanisation began in the 1950s with the David Low Way and Sunshine Coast Airport.
