About Nychum

Nychum is a rural locality in the Shire of Mareeba in far north Queensland, about 175 kilometres west of Mareeba and 70 kilometres north of Chillagoe. The entire locality lies within Nychum Station, a cattle-grazing property whose homestead, adjacent to Elizabeth Creek, stands at the end of Nychum Road and is managed by the Kenny Creek pastoral company. The locality also contains the Wollenden airstrip and has no permanent residents.
