About Hurricane
Hurricane is a remote rural locality in the Shire of Mareeba in Far North Queensland, about 200 kilometres west of Cairns in the Gulf Savannah country. It is a sparsely settled area of tropical savanna used mainly for cattle grazing, including the pastoral property Hurricane Station.
