About Lanskey
Lanskey is a suburb on the outer edge of Mount Isa, about 5 kilometres north-north-east of the CBD, bounded to the west by the Leichhardt River. It is a townside suburb with small pockets of housing and land used for grazing on native vegetation, named after a local grazier in 1973.
