About Jollys Lookout

Jollys Lookout is a rural locality in the City of Moreton Bay, situated within the southern section of D'Aguilar National Park about 28 kilometres northwest of Brisbane. Named in the 1920s after Brisbane Lord Mayor William Alfred Jolly, the lookout offers sweeping 180-degree views over the D'Aguilar Range toward the Glass House Mountains and eastward across Samford Valley to Moreton Bay. The area features eucalypt and rainforest forest, bushwalking tracks including the Egernia Circuit, and is a popular picnic and barbecue destination.
