About Ghinghinda
Ghinghinda is a remote rural locality in the Shire of Banana in Central Queensland, about 44 kilometres south-west of Theodore and 250 kilometres south-south-west of Rockhampton. It is bounded by Palm Tree Creek and the Gilbert Range, and takes its name from a pastoral station established circa 1899 among brigalow scrub and savannah woodland.
