About Broadmere
Broadmere is a remote rural locality in the Shire of Banana in central Queensland, located about 36 kilometres north-west of Taroom in the Dawson Valley. The locality features savanna grassland and brigalow scrub on the western slopes of the Great Dividing Range. Lake Murphy Conservation Park lies in the east and Belington Hut State Forest in the west, with cattle grazing the dominant land use.
