Kinnoul is a sparsely settled rural locality in the Shire of Banana in central Queensland, situated on the fertile plains between Taroom and the Dawson Valley. The land use is predominantly grazing on native vegetation with some crop growing, supporting beef cattle and pastoral properties. Taroom, the nearest township, lies approximately thirty-nine kilometres to the northeast and provides essential services for the surrounding district.
