About West Busselton

West Busselton is a suburb of the Western Australian city of Busselton, about 2 km from the town centre. It contains some of the district's earliest European buildings, dating from the 1850s and 1860s, including Broadwater Homestead, the limestone cottage built in the 1840s for the pioneer Alfred Bussell, and the Gulch, a police residence and bond store from 1856. The suburb is today a residential area with a primary school, high school and the Busselton Health Campus.
