About Cobrico

Cobrico is a small rural locality in the Shire of Corangamite in Victoria's Western District, situated approximately 12 kilometres from Camperdown. The locality lies within the Victorian Volcanic Plain and is notable for the Cobrico Swamp, a well-preserved tuff ring and maar crater formed by ancient volcanic activity. The surrounding country consists of undulating pastoral land used for dairy and mixed farming, with the volcanic lakes district around Lake Colac and Lake Purrumbete accessible to the east.
