About Dixie (Vic.)
Dixie is a small rural locality in the Western District of Victoria, within the Shire of Moyne. The landscape features rolling farmlands and wide open paddocks typical of south-western Victoria. Settlement dates to 1844, and the community includes soldier settler heritage from the twentieth century. Port Fairy, Warrnambool and Camperdown provide services.
