About Vervale
Vervale is a rural locality in the Shire of Cardinia in Victoria, about 71 kilometres south-east of Melbourne. The Bunyip River flows through the area, which lies between Cora Lynn and Iona on the eastern edge of the drained Koo Wee Rup Swamp. The name came into use around 1917, and the locality once had its own state school.
