About Emu Creek (Vic.)
Emu Creek is a rural locality in the City of Greater Bendigo in central Victoria, about 14 kilometres south-west of the Bendigo city centre. The area's early settlement was tied to pastoral runs and the Bendigo gold rush of the mid-1800s, and German vignerons planted vineyards along the creek from the 1850s. The locality retains open farmland and rural-residential holdings.
