About Upper Castra
Upper Castra is a semi-rural locality in the local government area (LGA) of Central Coast in the North-west and west LGA region of Tasmania, about 23 kilometres (14 mi) south of Ulverstone. The name castra means camp, Upper Castra being further inland from Castra, and the locality is bounded on the east by the Wilmot River.
