About Tinnanbar
Tinnanbar is a coastal town in the Fraser Coast Region, bounded by the Great Sandy Strait to the north and east and by Kauri Creek to the south. The adjacent Great Sandy Conservation Park supports populations of dolphins, turtles and dugongs, and is an important roosting area for migratory wading birds. The town has a white sandy beach popular for fishing and sailing, and sits about 52 kilometres south-east of Maryborough.
