About Scotchy Pocket

Scotchy Pocket is a rural locality in the Gympie Region of south-east Queensland, about 30 kilometres north-north-west of Gympie. The locality is bounded to the west by the Mary River and to the south by Curra Creek, with the Bruce Highway and North Coast railway line passing close to the south-east boundary. Mount Scotchy and Mount Booker rise in the south-east, and land use is predominantly grazing on native vegetation with some cropping near the river.
