About Pialba
Pialba is a coastal suburb and the central business district of Hervey Bay in the Fraser Coast Region of Queensland, on the southern shore of Hervey Bay. Surveyed originally as Polson, it was renamed Pialba in 1931, and had been linked to Maryborough by a railway line opened in 1896 to carry sugarcane to the local mill.
