About Torquay (Qld)
Torquay is a coastal suburb of Hervey Bay in the Fraser Coast Region, about 300 km north of Brisbane, made up largely of residential homes with tourist apartment accommodation along its beaches. Its foreshore and boat harbour sit on the calm, sheltered waters of Hervey Bay, a renowned whale-watching nursery, and the Esplanade links the suburb to the rest of the bay.
