About Gooburrum
Gooburrum is a rural locality in the Bundaberg Region of Queensland, on the Burnett River. In 1887 land was resumed from the Tantitha pastoral run and offered for selection as small farms. St Mark's Anglican Church, which opened in 1880, served the district until it closed in 2020, and Gooburrum State School has operated since 1884.
