About Wurtulla
Wurtulla is a coastal suburb within the Kawana Waters urban centre on the Sunshine Coast, between Caloundra and Maroochydore along the Coral Sea. The last of Kawana's beachside suburbs to be developed, it takes its name from an Aboriginal word meaning 'southward' and borders Currimundi Lake, whose wallum-heath conservation park preserves the wildflower country that once covered the coast.
