Spreadborough is a small rural locality in the Corangamite Shire of western Victoria, situated approximately 25 kilometres south-east of Colac in the Western District. The area is characterised by dairy farming, grazing land and remnant cypress pine and eucalypt woodland on the rolling volcanic plains. Spreadborough lies within the broader Western District agricultural landscape, with the nearby town of Birregurra providing local services and the Otway Ranges forming a scenic backdrop to the south.
