About White Patch
White Patch is a coastal locality on the western side of Bribie Island in the City of Moreton Bay, adjacent to the Pumicestone Channel. The area is known for fishing, boating and beach walks, with parts of Bribie Island National Park nearby. Originally called Bribie, the town was renamed White Patch in 1980 after a sand patch visible from the channel.
