About Meldale
Meldale is a coastal rural locality in the City of Moreton Bay, Queensland, situated about 17 kilometres north-east of Caboolture and bounded by the Pumicestone Channel which separates the mainland from Bribie Island. Named in 1983 from a combination of two local landowners' surnames, the area is characterised by its waterways including Bullock Creek and Elimbah Creek, with a boat ramp providing access to local fishing.
