About Banksia Beach
Banksia Beach is a residential town and suburb on the western coast of Bribie Island in the City of Moreton Bay, sitting on the Pumicestone Channel with canal estates along the coast. Known for fishing, scenic views toward the Glass House Mountains and Kakadu Beach Park, a roost site for migratory shorebirds, it borders Bribie Island National Park covering the western portion of the island. The Matthew Flinders Exploration monument in Col Fisher Park and the Pacific Harbour Golf and Country Club are notable landmarks.
