About Ripley
Ripley is a suburb in the City of Ipswich, Queensland, located within the Ripley Valley from which it takes its name. Situated on Yugarabul traditional Indigenous country, the area was settled as a farming community in the mid-1800s. In 2007, Ripley was designated as a master-planned urban development known as Ecco Ripley, expected to become Australia's largest planned community with an estimated 50,000 dwellings and 120,000 residents. The Ripley Town Centre opened its first stage in 2018.
