About Richlands (Qld)
Richlands is an outer south-western suburb in the City of Brisbane, Queensland, located approximately 16 kilometres southwest of the Brisbane central business district. Established in 1928, the suburb has experienced rapid residential development in Brisbane's western corridor. Served by Richlands railway station on the Springfield Line, the suburb is notable for its highly diverse multicultural community with significant Vietnamese, Indian, Samoan and Filipino populations and a median age of just 28 years.
