About Durack (Qld)

Durack is an outer residential suburb about 15 to 17 km southwest of Brisbane's CBD, named in 1976 after the Durack family's Archerfield pastoral station established in 1882. It features a linear park along a tributary of Blunder Creek, a bowling club and a dog showground. Durack is well connected to Brisbane via bus routes and nearby train stations at Salisbury and Richlands.
