About Inala
Developed from the 1950s as a Queensland Housing Commission estate on flat western alluvial plains, Inala is one of Brisbane's most culturally diverse suburbs with the state's largest Vietnamese community. Its town centre along Inala Avenue serves as a well-known multicultural food and shopping precinct, and the suburb sits south of the Ipswich Motorway between Darra and Forest Lake.
