About Sumner
Sumner is a south-western suburb of Brisbane, located approximately 15 kilometres from the CBD within the City of Brisbane. Developed as part of the Hooker Centenary Project from 1959, it is one of Brisbane's established Centenary Suburbs. The suburb is divided between a residential western section and the Sumner Park industrial and business estate to the east, giving it a mixed character uncommon in inner-ring Brisbane suburbs.
