About Moores Pocket
Moores Pocket is a suburb of Ipswich, Queensland, Australia, located 4.7 kilometres north-east of the Ipswich CBD. Bounded by the Bremer River on almost all sides, it is low-lying and flood-prone. Named after Thomas Moore, an early blacksmith from the 1840s, it has a high median age of 65.
