About Lower Mount Walker
Lower Mount Walker is a rural locality in South East Queensland, split between the Scenic Rim Region and the City of Ipswich. The Bremer River flows through it, entering from Mount Walker in the south and leaving towards Rosewood in the north-east. A provisional school opened in 1923, using a building relocated from Mount French in 1927, and the school closed around 1945. The locality is named after nearby Mount Walker.
