About Ebenezer (Qld)
Ebenezer is a rural locality in the City of Ipswich, approximately 23 kilometres south-west of Ipswich CBD. Named after a Wesleyan church that opened at Seven Mile Creek in 1871, from the Hebrew word meaning rock of faith, the area is bounded by the Bremer River to the north-west and consists of open farmland with scattered rural holdings.
