About Willawong
Willawong is an outer southern suburb of Brisbane, located about 17 kilometres south of the CBD, bounded by Oxley Creek and Blunder Creek. The name derives from an Aboriginal word meaning the junction of two creeks. The suburb hosts Brisbane's largest bus depot and shares the Archerfield Wetlands precinct with neighbouring suburbs.
