About Doolandella
Doolandella is an outer western suburb about 20.7 km southwest of Brisbane's CBD, an almost entirely residential area with a multicultural, family-friendly community and significant Vietnamese, Indian and Chinese populations. Blunder Creek forms its eastern and southern boundaries, and the name derives from a Yuggera Aboriginal word referring to the Geebung tree native to the area. It offers access to the Ipswich and Logan Motorways and is near Forest Lake shopping centre and Richlands railway station.
