About Parkwood (Qld)
Parkwood is a residential suburb about 11 km northwest of Surfers Paradise and 8.7 km northwest of Southport in the City of Gold Coast. Characterised by leafy, green streets and owner-occupied detached homes, it features the Parkwood Golf Course and Brushwood Ridge Reserve, offering bushwalking on a 100-metre peak in the north. The suburb is served by G:link light rail stops at Parkwood and Parkwood East, opened in 2017.
