About Nerang

Nerang is an inland town straddling the Nerang River and one of the Gold Coast's earliest European settlements, established in the 1860s as a farming district. The Pacific Motorway crosses the river here, and Nerang serves as a gateway to the Numinbah Valley and Gold Coast hinterland. Nerang National Park, featuring dry rainforest and eucalypt bushland, lies on the town's northwestern outskirts.
