About Highland Park
Highland Park is a residential suburb in the City of Gold Coast about 12 km southwest of Surfers Paradise and 5.5 km south of Nerang, between Nerang, Carrara and Worongary. William Duncan State School, opened in 1987 and named after an early timber-getter in the district, is a local landmark.
