Nine Mile is a rural locality in the Rockhampton Region of central Queensland, located approximately 17 kilometres west of Rockhampton along undulating basalt plains. Named for its approximate distance from Rockhampton along early overland routes, the area is characterised by open farmland and grazing properties.
