About Westcourt
Westcourt is a suburb of Cairns in the Cairns Region, Queensland, situated on Yidinji traditional land. The area was originally a dairy farm subdivided in 1886 and formally named as a suburb in 1973. Local landmarks include Jones Park, donated by the Jones brothers in 1966 for junior rugby league, and the Westcourt Plaza shopping centre.
