About Trinity Beach
Trinity Beach is a coastal residential suburb of Cairns about 20 km north of the CBD along the Coral Sea coastline in Far North Queensland, known for its approximately one-mile-long sandy beach, beachfront resorts and tropical setting backed by the Macalister Range. Sitting on traditional Djabugay Aboriginal country, it was used as an amphibious warfare training site by Australian and American troops during World War II. Taylor Point, a scenic undeveloped waterfront area, and the Bluewater Estate development are notable features.
