About Koah
Koah is a rural locality in the Shire of Mareeba in Far North Queensland, about 39 kilometres west of Cairns and 14 kilometres south-west of Kuranda. The Barron River flows along its northern boundary, and the Kennedy Highway and Tablelands railway line pass through the area. The locality includes the Clohesy River valley and remnants of historic gold mining.
