About Aeroglen
Aeroglen is a coastal suburb of Cairns in Queensland, about 5 km north of the city centre, on a slope at the foot of Mount Whitfield Conservation Park. Most of the suburb is occupied by Cairns International Airport. Named before 1939 for its proximity to the aerodrome, the area was earlier known as Quarry Siding, and it lies in the traditional country of the Yidinji people.
