About Greenslopes
Greenslopes is a southern suburb in the City of Brisbane, Queensland, about 6 kilometres by road from the Brisbane CBD and bounded on the west by the Pacific Motorway and the South East Busway. The suburb grew along Slack's Track, a bullock route pioneered in the 1850s to link the Logan River settlements with Brisbane, and takes its name from the 'green slopes' of an early estate. It is home to the Greenslopes Private Hospital and a busway station.
