About Calamvale
Calamvale is a southern suburb in the City of Brisbane, Queensland, located 17 kilometres south of the CBD. Named after the Calam family whose homestead site is now occupied by the Calamvale Hotel, the area was formally approved as a suburb in 1975. It is a multicultural community with significant Chinese, Indian and Taiwanese populations.
